what is peaceful eating?

Peaceful Eating encompases a kind and embodied approach to eating. This online intensive course was designed and developed by Registered Dietitian and Yoga Instructor Pamela Malo and focuses on nutrition from a unique mind-body-heart perspective. Through discussion, yoga, personal reflection, and mind-body science we will discover that what is on our plate is only part of the story.

This course is for you if…

  • You are ready to experience (or return to) a more pleasant relationship with eating, and yourself

  • You ready to stop counting things (ie calories, carbs etc) in your food

  • You tried ‘every diet out there' but still aren't sure what works best for you

FAQ

I’m new to yoga. Can I take this class?

Yes. If you are medically cleared to do yoga, we will be doing a gentle yoga sequence suitable for anyone. Modifications are always welcome so the practice is a perfect fit for you and your body.

Is this class for people trying to lose weight?

The focus of this class is not on weight loss. While some participants may wish to lose weight, the class is appropriate for anyone who wants less friction and more ease in their relationship with food and their body.

I really want to lose weight. Is this for me?

Exercises and discussions are designed to cultivate self-awareness and to see and recreate our "food story" in a way that is nourishing. ur emphasis is on the longer arc of cultivating a loving relationship with self and body not on weight loss.

Is this just for women?

Nope! Men and women have taken this course. See testimonials below.

Are you going to sell me any products or product lines?

No. This course does not promote any products, cleanses, eating styles or diets. My goal is that you realize how multi-faceted true nourishment is, and feel empowered to experiment and learn what works for you. I do not subscribe to a one-size fits all approach. There are as many ideal diets as there are people on the planet!

Can I work with you individually?

Individual instruction is not included however participants can work with me for a discounted rate.
